At Mishima town you are strongly recommended to try “Ferryboat across Tadami
River”, called “Mugen-kyo no watashi”.
In the past the ferryboat was only the transportation between Mishima town and
Kaneyama town and every households had their own boat to go across Tadami
river,
Famous local photographer, Mr.Kenko Hoshi has started this ferryboat tour for
the tourists,
Mr.Kenko Hoshi(Left side) brings you wonderful Tatami river tour.
You are required to make prior reservation to enjoy this ferryboat(Phone 0241-42-2244).
The service is available from end of April till middle of November.
You can also enjoy colored leaf in the autumn.
The basic price is ¥5,000 for one hour tour(including go and back from Mishima to
Kaneyama.) by 4 passengers. (Over 4 passengers ¥1,200 is requested by each
additional passenger.)
After ferryboat you might enjoy nice Onsen at Tsrunoyu just close to the ferryboat
station.
