Nozaki Island is now almost desert island located about 2km east from Ojika Island. But, before there were approx. 650 residents in this island including lots of latent Christians.
In 2018, “Nagasaki Amakusa region of the latent Christian-related heritage” has been the World Cultural Heritage by the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO, Cultural Organization). “Nagasaki Amakusa region of the latent Christian-related heritage” is made up of 12 assets, [village trace of Nozak Island] is also included. The symbolic structure of this village is former Nokubi Church.
Nokubi Church 
Besides Nokubi Church there are lots of historical heritages and view points in this Island. The best way to enjoy this small Island is to join guide tour made by Ojika Island Tourism in every weekend. (English guide is also available.) The fee is just Yen3,980 including transportation between Ojika and Nozaki.
