Enjoy Japanese green tea and brilliant stars at Hoshino Village

   Hoshino village located at southern part of Fukuoka Pref. is famous for Hoshino tea, very delicious “Gyokuro” tea.(high quality refined tea)

I strongly recommend you to go “Tea Museum”, where you can try various experience programs such as hand-roll of tea leaves, making powdered tea by stone mill, cooking Japanese cakes, etc.

   If you want to take photos of tea field, why don’t you drive “Mino Skyway” located at northern part of the village. You can enjoy wonderful view of tea field and rice terrace.

  This Mino Skyway leads you to the summit of Mt.Takatori, where you can see famous mountains in Kyushu, such as Mt.UnzenFugendake, Kirishima mountain ranges.

   After enjoying a lot of Hoshino tea you can now enjoy beautiful sky with brilliant stars at “Star Museum” located close to Tea Museum.

 At the museum there is also hotel available to stay. The chief of the museum gives the visitors star lecture at night.

 You can enjoy wonderful nature day and night at Hoshino Village.
