Aka Ushi(Akage Wagyu) is a breed of small Japanese beef cattle. Most of famous Japanese Wagyu is Japanese Black. But, they breed Japanese Brown here.
At the restaurants in Takamori town you can eat various dishes of Aka Ushi. Among them I recommend you to try Aka Ushi bowl. They cook them in mid-rare with mild sauce. They provide with boiled egg on the top.
It is really delicious.
