Okura Village is famous area of rice crop.
On the first Sunday of June every year the young guys in the village
show dance to wish successful crop in the autumn.(They call “Taue-Odori”.)
“Taue” means rice planting.
After the farmers plant the rices in May, the festival is held in June accordingly.
They start the dance from the local shrine and go around the farmers houses in the village.
